Want to support your child’s speech and language development? Try our free local PEEP groups or visit NELFT for specialist help. Plus there loads of help online.

Come along to our free Peep sessions. You can have fun with your children, make new friends, learn how to support your children’s development and create a home learning environment.

What to Expect 

PEEP-A-BOO 

 0 to 18 months 

A group for parents and children to play, learn and grow together. Helps with talking, thinking, feelings, and making friends. 

 PEEP Play and Talk 

18 months to 4 years 

A group for parents and older children, 18 months to 4 years, to play, learn, and grow. Helps with talking, thinking, feelings, and making friends.

NELFT Speech and Language Services

The NHS Speech and Language Therapy Team offer a specialist service to support children with significant speech, language and communication needs. They offer advice to parents, carers and nurseries.  

If you think your child needs a referral to the Speech and Language Therapy Team, please discuss with your Health Visitor or the SENCO at their nursery SENCo.
