Course

EPEC Autism is a programme for local parents, run by local parents.

  • Get amazing free training, increase your confidence and learn practical parenting skills:
  • Feelings, change and meltdowns
  • Play attention, behaviour and communication
  • Sensory processing difficulties
  • Setting boundaries
  • Build confidence
  • Connect with like-minded parents who also have a child with social communication difficulties or on the autism pathway

Booking

The course runs for 10 weeks every term, at Sycamore Trust, 27-29 Woodward Road, Dagenham, Essex, RM9 4SJ, with no creche facilities available. The next course will start in September 2026.

A ten-week parenting course for families in Barking & Dagenham with a child under four years old who is autistic or experiencing social communication differences. It aims to help parents develop practical skills, confidence, and connections with others.
